MA or MSc in Geography (Global Health Systems in Africa)
The Master's in Geography (Global Health Systems in Africa) is an interdisciplinary degree offered within Geography in collaboration with the Global Health Systems in Africa. The degree consists of all mandatory program components in Geography, including a thesis, along with the mandatory program components required by the Global Health Systems in Africa program. Upon graduation, students receive a Master's degree in Geography with a specialization in Global Health Systems in Africa.
Master's students are supervised through a Thesis Advisory Committee of at least two, consisting of the Supervisor and another faculty member knowledgeable in the area of research. A member of the Advisory Committee must be listed as a member of the Global Health Systems in Africa list of Faculty Advisors. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the student's academic program, especially the thesis research and thesis preparation.
